Prarena is a Thailand based designer known for her edgy and glamorous fashion wear. Her design philosophy is women empowerment, which is reflected in her garments. “Fashion is like armor, what you wear is your first impression.” She believes nothing is more powerful then a women who knows what she wants and is not afraid to achieve her goals. Being an Indian, born and raised in Thailand her two cultures collide in the way she designs.

Graduating from Raffles International College, with distinction and the student of the year award. To build her resume Prarena traveled to India and worked with various, seasoned designers to expand her knowledge in unique forms of fashion celebrated all over India. Fashion has been a part of her life since the beginning as her family has been in the tailoring business for over 50 years.

OUR CONCEPT
At Prarena Grover we create modern silhouettes that are adorned with traditional Indian craftsmanship. The combination of the silhouette cut, the pattern of the outfit flow, the strategic placement of the motifs and other elements as well as the fabric makes the creation from this fashion label truly mesmerizing. The brand, is a line of Indo Western garments with a fun, fresh, and edgy take on fashion. Our design language leans on interesting cuts and exaggerated styles with intricate embroideries. The silhouettes of our designs are flirty with a sense of sophistication. Our collections are usually based on stories, a time in history and a lot of our designs have been inspired by different cultures from around the world.
SAKKO BY PRARENA GROVER
Sakko is label under the Prarena Grover name, specializing in outerwear. While Sakko means jackets in the German language, it represents more than the literal translation to the designer. It relates to her heritage, and a time when her father and grandfather started their careers as traveling tailors in Germany. Their regular travels made the language a part of their day to day lives, which is something Prarena has always admired about her father. Mr.Grover has always had a love for jackets, which is why she dedicates this line to her father, the man who has always believed in her. Sakko is Prarena’s way of showing her and her father’s love for jackets in an unconventional way.
